Producer’s comments by Mr. Jan Holtermann: This is an example of remote agriculture at its best, extreme viticulture. The Holtermann vineyard is located just north of the town of Annapolis, CA, and eight kilometers from the cold Pacific Ocean. It sits on a mountain ridge surrounded by dense and wild forests of redwoods and pines.
