Raw Materials and Ingredients

Origin: DOCa Rioja Alta – Spain.

Varieties: Tempranillo 75%, Mazuelo 15% and Graciano 10%.

Aging: French Oak, 24 months.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Perfumed. It displays an exquisite aromatic range such as black fruit with good maturity, spicy aromas of black pepper, notes of graphite, and undergrowth (aromas of wet forest, mushrooms, moss, leaves, and wet earth). All the above is accompanied by faint minty and smoky touches.

Mouth: Silky entry. It interestingly combines flavors of ripe red and black fruits. It expresses a sweet tannin, with very good acidity that balances the palate. Notes of licorice appear and pepper is present again. A very long, elegant, friendly, and frank wine.

Pairing: A great companion for lamb, red meats, and game, as well as mature cheeses. Although it is also flavorful on its own.
