Origin: Ribera del Duero D.O. – Spain. Varieties: Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) 94% and Cabernet Sauvignon 6%. Aging: French and American oak. stayed 15 months in a 20,000-liter wooden vat. Later 25 months in new barrels, 17 months in vats of large capacity wood (almost 5 years total). Stowage 48 months (approximately). Nose: Complex. Great red fruit expression ripe, and some black fruit, accompanied by fine notes of toasted cedar, tobacco, and memories minerals. Mouth: Sensual and seductive. expressive flavors cherry and plum, accompanied by touches minerals that give it complexity and great wealth. Very polished tannins, vibrant acidity that recounts his youth, of great intensity and elegance. Dense, wide, deep, and very accommodating. Optional pairings among others: A wine that itself is enough. The best red meats would be his company, the lamb, the game, and the mature cheeses.
