Product Description

SGN wines are one of the greatest rarities and exclusivities, due to their limited production. The harvest is carried out patiently, selecting individual berries (hence the name) from each cluster once they have over-ripened and have been affected by noble rot (Botrytis Cinérea). This process decisively and positively influences the grapes, concentrating their aromatic and flavor components. These grapes must come from the best vineyards. The result of over-ripening is a wine with a higher level of residual sugar, but the noble rot provides a pleasant natural acidity, achieving an exquisite balance. Suggested serving temperature is 8°C. Contains 13% alc./vol. The wine shows a moderate crystallization of mineral salts and tartaric acids, as aggressive stabilization methods are not used to preserve all the wine’s virtues. Its aging potential (reductive aging) exceeds 20 years.
