Taylor’s launched Chip Dry, a new style of white aperitif Port, in 1934. Made from traditional white grape varieties, this wine is fermented for longer than usual to give it a palatable dry and vibrant finish. Several years of aging in oak barrels and a careful blend of different wines complement the fresh fruit flavors with elegant and complex nutty characteristics. Produced in limited quantities, Chip Dry White Port is marketed in numbered bottles, which also indicate the name of the aging cellar where the wine was aged.
