Description

Origin: DOCa Rioja Alta – Spain. Variety(s): Tempranillo 60%, Garnacha 30%, Mazuelo 5% and Graciano 5%. Ageing: French and American oak, 14 months. Stowage 12 months. Nose: perfumed in the notes predominate primaries such as red fruits, subtle licorice, and some faint tertiary touches reminiscent of the spices and cedar. Mouth: fresh entry. Advance to the middle showing balanced, good fruit expression, in harmony with a very well-integrated medium acidity, about fine and delicate tannins, medium body, and well-assembled alcohol. It has a long final. Optional pairings among others: Iberian sausages cured meats, tapas in general, paella, meats white and red. Cow or sheep cheeses.
