Nose: Attractive, reminiscent of floral touches and expressive notes of red and black fruits, mainly fresh.

Mouth: Friendly on entry. Immediately displays a tasty variety of fruit flavors, primarily red, and its characteristic almond touch. Very good balance, polished tannins, medium body, velvety and pleasant finish.

Pairing: Pasta, fish (oily), white and red meats. Fresh to semi-cured cheeses. Dishes with some acidity or sweetness to balance its slight bitterness (almond).

Description

Sommelier Randall Calderón Chacón’s Comments: A wine made from an old vineyard called Rossana, which is considered the “Cru” of Dolcetto vineyards. Its first year of production was 1969. Boutique production of 40,000 bottles. One of the traditional wines of Alba, which expresses its modernity in every sip, remarkable harmony and elegance. The Ceretto family has been making multiple efforts for years in search of natural balance with the environment. And the fruits are beginning to be harvested; as of the 2015 harvest, this wine is certified as “Organic” = Biological.
