It is an agave distillate that faithfully represents the ancestral tradition of Oaxacan mezcal. Produced in the town of San Andrés, Oaxaca, this mezcal is the result of distilling agaves grown in the highlands, where soil and climate conditions contribute a unique character to the product. Made 100% from Espadín agave, Alipús San Andrés is crafted using artisanal processes, from cooking the agaves in stone ovens to fermentation with natural yeasts and distillation in copper stills. This mezcal is recognized for its balance between the sweet notes of the agave and the traditional smoky touch characteristic of high-quality artisanal mezcals.
