Product Description

The Pellegrino winery was founded in Marsala in 1880 by the notary and winemaker Paolo Pellegrino. His son Carlo married Josephine Despagne, daughter of the French winemaker Oscar Pierre Despagne, a native of Sauternais, marking a love at first sight with the French winemaking tradition. Today, Pellegrino remains conscious of its glorious past, with the sixth generation ensuring the continuity of its heritage of experience and values.

Passito di Pantelleria is a Sweet Liqueur wine with a Protected Designation of Origin. The fortification is achieved through the addition of Zibibbo raisins.
