Origin: Sardinia – Italy.

Variety: 100% Cannonau.

Aging: Slovenian Oak, 24 months.

Nose: Perfumed. Cedar, black fruits, undergrowth, spices, and violets.

Palate: Friendly entry. Complex, with flavors of black fruits and minerals. Spicy, intense, and harmonious. Long finish.

Pairing: Charcuterie, stews, pasta in intense sauces, white and red meats (preferably grilled). Lamb and game. As well as medium to aged cheeses.

Cannonau is the enological link of Sardinia, and perhaps of the entire Mediterranean basin. Sella & Mosca dedicates special care to it, cultivating it in the warm and sandy coastal vineyards and in the hard and rocky soils of the interior hills.
