Aging:

French Oak, 12 months.

Nose:

Its aromas suggest ripe black and red fruits such as plums, blackberries, and dried figs, with touches of cinnamon, vanilla, and spices.

Palate:

Warm entry. It delights with its great fruity expression, with a very good balance between fresh and ripe flavors. Very well-polished tannins in harmony with its balanced acidity. Very friendly, intense, fine, and pleasant, with a marked and tasty finish.

Pairing:

Salmon, pasta, risotto or pasta with mushrooms, white and red meats, semi-mature cheeses, and mentholated chocolates.

Sommelier Randall Calderón Chacón’s Comments: The vineyards used come from the famous Colchagua Valley, at the Apalta estate. Located on extremely steep slopes of 45º, planted with varieties unconventional for Chilean enology such as Carignan, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, all planted with natural and sustainable controls in all stages (“Dry Farming” concept) and with extremely low yields, our vineyards are truly unique.
