Description

Origin: DOCa Rioja – Spain Variety: Tempranillo 80% and Garnacha 20%. Ageing: American Oak 36 months and stowage 24 months. Nose: Aromatic, noted for its fresh character, spicy, with notes of sweet cherries, blueberries reds and ripe strawberries with hints of pepper black, sweet licorice, nutmeg, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. Mouth: intense in flavors, balanced, with a soft freshness, pleasant structure and with fine and elegant tannins. Its finish is silky, with a good aftertaste and a broad finish. Optional pairings among others: Sausages Iberian, grilled meats (white or red), roasts, small game, lamb and semi cheeses cured to ripe.
