DOCa Rioja (Oriental) – Spain.

Varieties

Tempranillo 40%, Graciano 30%, Garnacha 28% and Mazuela 2%.

Aging

French Oak, 16 months + a rack of 36 months (Reductive Aging = Bottle).

Nose

Frank (with predominant memories of Graciano). Aromas of black fruits, licorice and balsamic. Subsequently, sensations of fresh and ripe fruits appear.

Mouth

Very pleasant and warm from its entry. The tannins are slightly sweet (typical of Graciano), in harmony with its fruit expression and just acidity. Medium-bodied, elegant and tasty.

Oily fish, white and red meats. Semi-cured cow or sheep cheeses.
