Sommelier Randall Calderón Chacón’s comments; The Castello di Pomino was built in 1500 and since then has been producing these exquisite wines. A Chardonnay varietal, interesting, exquisite and accommodating.

Raw Materials and Ingredients

Origin: Pomino – Rùfina (Tuscany) – Italy.
Varieties: Chardonnay 85%, Pinot Blanc 10% and others 5%.
Aging: French Oak, 4 months for 50%.
Nose: Aromatic. Fuses floral notes (white and yellow) with tropical fruits such as pear, peach and citrus touches reminiscent of grapefruit. Accompanied by subtle smoky notes.
Mouth: Enters recalling the fruity and citrus notes announced on the nose. Advances showing its freshness and creaminess gained during its passage through the barrel. Intense and pleasant.
Optional Pairings: Cured meats, pasta, pizzas, risotto, fish and seafood. As well as fresh or semi-cured cheeses.
