Description

Classic Côtes du Rhône. Fruity and fleshy with beautiful tannins, it is a great everyday wine made almost exclusively from our Grand Prébois vineyards (for the Grenache) and Vinsobres vineyards (for the Syrah). A beautiful wine you should always have nearby! This wine is a blend of Grenache (Prébois vineyard in Orange), Syrah from further north, the Vinsobres area, and Mourvèdre.

Varieties

Aging

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks controlled between 150hl and 190hl. 50% of the wine is kept in steel and 50% in oak barrels for 12 months.

Color

Beautiful intense and deep red color with violet reflections.

Nose

This wine opens with a powerful, very expressive empyreumatic nose (a particular aroma taken on by animal and some plant substances subjected to violent fire) with toasted notes, undergrowth, and mushrooms such as truffle.

Palate

Shows elegance with fine tannins that balance the opulent notes of very ripe black fruit and spices typical of Syrah with a magnificent long finish.

Pairing

Rabbit, veal, quail, lamb, fatty beef cuts, and aged cheeses.
