Origin: AOP Gigondas, Rhône South – France. Varieties: Grenache 70%, Mourvèdre 15%, Syrah 14% and 1% Cinsault. Aging: 12 months, in French oak (20% in barrels new, 50% in barrels from 1 to 4 uses, and 30% in concrete tanks). Nose: Aromatic, strawberry, violet, and licorice together with spicy touches such as black pepper. Mouth: Voluptuous entry. walk briskly, with exquisite texture, great intensity, and tasty minerality. Memorable and long finish. Optional pairings among others: Rabbit, veal, quail, lamb, cuts of beef with fat, and mature cheeses.
