Origin: Rioja (Alavesa) – Spain. Variety: Tempranillo 100%. Aging: French Oak, between 12 and 14 months. Nose: Scented. Enviable exuberance of fruits Ripe reds, hints of leather, minerals, and spiced. Subtle hints of aniseed and ham (raw beef). Mouth: Firm entrance with an expressive acidity banner of the region. Polished tannins, good balance, voluptuous but at the same time caressing tasty finish. Optional pairings among others: Sausages Iberian, pork, poultry, Ossobuco, meat red, lamb, game, and mature cheeses.
