Product Description

A splendid Ripasso from the best vineyards that Casa Bertani owns in Valpolicella Classica and Valpantena, in soils rich in limestone and marl. After harvesting, a typical vinification follows consisting of a first fermentation in steel, followed by a second, in mid-March, in which the wine is left “ripassando” (repouring) in contact with the skins of the Amarone. These skins, far from being exhausted, are still very rich in extractive substances and indigenous yeasts.
