Product Description

Bertani’s Amarone Valpantena is a full and authentic wine, one of the most significant in Valpolicella and the cru from which it takes its name. Valpantena is a pre-Alpine valley located north of Verona, situated on land with abundant limestone, marl, and clay, and especially rich in iron. A very varied landscape that gives the classic Amarone an agile and friendly profile, satiating and immediate, round, but also jovial.

Aging

In barrels of 30, 54, and 75 hectoliters for 24 months.

Nose

Intense ruby red color with persistent violet reflections. With intense aromas characteristic of this area: cherry jam and liqueur, sour cherries, forest fruits, nuts, and sweet spices. Young but well-evolved.

Palate

Shows all the typicality of Valpantena with excellent drinkability and extraordinary harmony. The tannins, soft and silky, make it a structured wine. Its outstanding freshness invites a sip and accompanies the final memories of a ripe and fragrant fruit.

Pairing

A full-bodied wine that requires pairing with dishes with mature cheeses and intense flavored meats.
