907g Talley's Half Shell Mussel

The Talley’s Greenshell mussels in the half shell are seafood products from New Zealand presented in their natural half shell, preserving their authentic appearance while providing convenience for multiple preparation and serving styles. These mussels are recognized for their large size, meaty texture, and mild ocean flavor with lightly sweet and savory notes. The half-shell presentation allows the product to be cooked and served directly in its natural shell, creating a more attractive restaurant-style appearance for appetizers, seafood platters, and hot dishes. Their firm and juicy texture helps maintain consistency during cooking while preserving moisture and tenderness when heated.

907g Talley's Half Shell Mussel Product Information

Greenshell mussels are known for their abundant meat and distinctive appearance, while also absorbing butter, sauces, herbs, wine, and seasonings effectively during preparation. This versatility allows them to be incorporated into recipes with garlic, lemon, white wine, cream, butter, or seasoned blends where seafood flavor pairs with aromatic and fresh ingredients. The product can be prepared in the oven, on the grill, in a skillet, steamed, or baked au gratin, adapting easily to different culinary styles. During cooking, the mussels develop richer aromas and a slightly more tender texture while still maintaining a firm structure that supports easy handling and serving.
