Tasting Notes

Nose: Perfumed, with prominent mineral notes, spices, lavender, and blackberry compote, combined with subtle smoky and licorice hints.

Mouth: Its entry is firm. The aromatic notes reappear on the palate. Throughout its journey, it displays vivacity, density, and a great structure, very well integrated with sensations of ripe fruits accompanied by spices and mineral touches until its long and marked finish.

Pairing

Ideal with red meats (New York Steak, Rib Eye, Strip Steak), lamb, large game, and mature cheeses. It is also spectacular to enjoy on its own.

Description

The La Nieta estate covers an area of 1.75 hectares and contains only 6,911 vines. This vineyard was planted in 1975, and from it, only 4,000 to 5,000 bottles are produced. A mystical and cult wine, it allows one to understand, sip by sip, the painstaking attention to detail throughout the long and slow journey from the vineyard to the glass. It showcases the subtlety and elegance of Tempranillo in a floral and spicy wine that is unctuous, broad, sweet, and fresh, with perfect balance and a long-lasting memory.
