Origin: DOCa Rioja Alta – Spain. Variety(s): Tempranillo 70%, Garnacha 20%, Mazuelo 7% and Graciano 3%. Ageing: French and American oak, 24 months. Stowage 12 months. Nose: aromatic. Invites to the memory of red fruits and blacks like cherries and blackberries, like fennel, mount low (mixture of rosemary, thyme, and oregano), smoked aromas, vanilla, and coffee. Mouth: Exquisite entry. Sensations are perceived as fresh fruits, menthol touches, and chocolaty on your journey. Intense, polished tannins, fine texture, and pronounced finish. Optional pairings among others: Stews of flavor intense, cured Iberian sausages, pork, game, lamb, cuts of beef, and cured cheeses.
