Ageing: French oak barrels Nose: High intensity on the nose with aromas of currant and black cherry, plum compote, white pepper, licorice, and fennel with hints of pastry, ground coffee beans, and cedar. Mouth: The palate is full, with ample freshness its balance between acidity and volume, tannins elegant, and a powerful and friendly step. The large aftertaste, highlights peppers, cedar, fruit black, and the forest floor. Optional pairings among others: A Ribera del Powerful and elegant Douro that enhances meats red, roasted lamb, and well-cured cheeses.
