Product Details

Origin: Langhe (Piedmont) – Italy.

Variety(ies): Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Merlot 30% and Syrah 30%.

Aging: French Oak, 12 – 14 months.

Nose: Aromatic, with a predominance of black fruits such as blackberries, cassis, and blueberries, accompanied by notes of cedar and black olive with a subtle background of spices.

Palate: Firm at its entry, it displays flavors of fresh black fruits and touches of spices. Featuring warm tannins, it expresses vivacity, opulence, and intensity with a long and very pleasant finish.

Pairing: Ideal with pastas, risottos, game, lamb, red meat, and mature cheeses.

Sommelier Comments by Randall Calderón Chacón: Monsordo was born in 1997, after many years of making and bottling the varieties used on their own. The creation was born from the need to produce a wine with three of the most famous red varieties in the world. A great wine that expresses the skill of a unique blend and the best of its vineyard. Limited production of 50,000 bottles. The Ceretto family has been making multiple efforts for years in search of a natural balance with the environment. Starting from the 2015 harvest, this wine is certified as “Organic” (Biological).
