Origin: Gaiole (Tuscany) – Italy.

Nose: Perfumed. Red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, intermingled with spicy notes.

Palate: Warm entry. Red fruits intermingle with spices and touches of chocolate, tobacco, and minerals. It is elegant, silky, harmonious, and very pleasant. Long finish.

Pairing: Oily fish, grilled white and red meats (preferably), pastas or roasts, and medium-aged cheeses.

Sommelier Randall Calderón Chacón’s Comments: Casalferro is a wine from the “Cru” = vineyard that gives its name. Therefore, it is a Single Vineyard. Produced since 1993. A great alternative for lovers of this noble variety. Limited production of a boutique wine; 29,000 bottles.
