Our first delivery was in February 2020. With 6 years of experience and over 35,000 deliveries we have learned what it takes to successfully offer food delivery in Costa Rica. We have faced a lot of challenges along the way as Costa Rica is not an easy place to offer food delivery services. The roads are tough on our vehicles and drivers but thanks to an amazing team we have made it through the tough times. Perhaps the most difficult part of offering food delivery in Costa Rica is the rainy season due to road closures and making the delivery in the rain. Our goal is to bring premium foods that are not readily found in your average local store to your home with a smile. The truth is that it is tough to find many of the products we sell, especially in rural small towns. We source the very best and hard-to-find products, then deliver them to your door. The type of food we deliver throughout Costa Rica is mainly focused on organic fruits and vegetables. Offering organic food in Costa Rica available for delivery is the heart of what Market and More is all about. We started out in 2020 with just organic fruits, vegetables and herbs. However since then we have evolved and been able to offer a wide variety of ready made food. Although our focus still remains on delivering high quality local and organic food plus local artisanal products we offer so much more now. In fact we launch new products on a weekly basis which makes shopping at Market and More exciting each week. 

Prepared Meals and Ready to Eat Options

We offer prepared food delivered to your door across Costa Rica. Options include both healthy meals and comfort food. Most meals are frozen, so they can be stored and used when needed. This makes it easy to have food ready without cooking.

Mono Congo Prepared Food

Mono Congo was our first prepared meal provider and remains one of our most popular. They offer lasagnas, pot pies, soups, pizzas, and falafels, along with a selection of fresh bread. The meals are geared toward familiar flavors from the USA and Canada. All products are made with real ingredients and contain no preservatives. Most items are easy to store and prepare, making them a practical option for quick meals at home.

Kuker Prepared Food

Kuker is a Costa Rican company located in San Jose with over 7 years of experience in prepared meal delivery. Together we help customers save time with meals that offer strong nutritional value and reliable quality. Customer experience is a core priority at every step for Kuker. 

Kuker offers prepared meals designed for children, along with a range of options for adults. Their menu includes more refined dishes such as pork loin with bacon and beef tenderloin.

Genbu Prepared Food

Genbu is our newest prepared meal provider, led by chef Max Villalobos. They focus on fresh, high quality meals made with real ingredients. The menu is designed to offer balanced, ready to eat options that are easy to incorporate into a regular routine.

Bakery Items Delivered in Costa Rica

We deliver bakery items across Costa Rica, making it easy to access fresh and specialty baked goods in one place. Organic Fruits

Organic fruit delivery is one of our specialties. We offer 2 options, If the title of the product is labeled as “organic” it comes from a farmer that has an organic certificate or has an organic certificate in the process and has been passing its tests. If the title of the fruit says “agroecological” then it comes from a farmer that uses organic processes but does not have a certificate. The organic certificate is too expensive for some farmers but we only work with farmers we know and trust. Some of our favorite fruits are pineapples, papayas and apples. Organic Vegetables and Herbs

Offering organic vegetables available for home delivery in Costa Rica is one of the things we are most proud of. Vegetables are one of the top sellers in our market delivery service. We get our organic greens from La Cima de Dota which is one of the highest areas in Costa Rica. The higher altitude makes it ideal for growing greens and many other vegetables. The cold climate makes the vegetables more lush and vibrant plus there are less bugs at this higher altitude making organic growing more easy. Free-Range Chicken and Eggs

We are proud to deliver the best free-range chicken and eggs in all of Costa Rica. You really have to taste the chicken that comes from our organic farmer Finca Santa Cecilia. Once you taste it you will never want to eat any other chicken again. It is clean cage free chicken. They feed it organic produce scraps and organic corn; however we can’t classify the chicken as organic because there is no organic meat certification in Costa Rica. The eggs are on an equal level. We pick up the eggs fresh every week so you are guaranteed freshness. See our free-range chicken and eggs here. 

Meat

We have a wide variety of different meats that we deliver in Costa Rica. The most popular is grass-fed beef. We offer grass-fed beef from the brand Grass-Fed which is the cleanest beef in Costa Rica. Grass-Fed brand is the only pasture-raised beef that is hormone and antibiotic-free, internationally certified by MAYACERT. We also have grass-fed beef from our organic farmer Finca Santa Cecilia (Carnes Finca Santa Cecilia) and Express Meat as well. These 2 providers have become very popular on our online grocery store. Both these providers have hormone and antibiotic free beef as well but it’s not certified. Express Meat also offers Grade A Angus prime beef. 
 
Another favorite that is hard to find in your average Costa Rica grocery store is lamb. Our lamb is clean and mostly grass fed with minimal grains. 
 
You can’t forget about the pork we offer. Most of the pork comes from the brand Grass-Fed so they are fairly treated free-range pigs that have the best care. Life would not be complete without bacon so of course we offer several types of bacon. 
 
Perhaps the most delicious meats we offer are the chorizos and sausages. A favorite artisanal provider is The Sausage Guy who offers the best sausages in all of Costa Rica. We also have sausages from other providers as well such as Express Meat, Grass-Fed and Pricesmart.

Artisanal Products

Working with Costa Rican artisans is one of our core value propositions that we are most proud of. Large grocery stores do not offer these artisanal brands, but they are often the very best products on the market. We offer a wide range of items, including artisanal soaps, deodorants, bread, baked goods, and much more. It’s challenging for these small artisan brands to manage the logistics of shipping their products nationwide, and that is where we step in to help.

PriceSmart delivery is one of our specialties and a service that our customers are very grateful for.  PriceSmart has a huge selection of products that we deliver to your door. Normally, to shop at PriceSmart, you need to buy a membership and go directly to the store. We open up the service to allow customers to skip the membership, order directly from our website, and get the products delivered to their home, along with all the other products we offer in our shop.  There are many pepared options available at Pricesmart.
